Exercise Routines to Alleviate Anxiety

It’s no secret that physical health and mental health are closely related. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), “health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.” Physical activity comes with many benefits: improved self-esteem, reduced stress and better concentration.

During exercise, our bodies produce chemicals called endorphins. As they interact with receptors in the brain, it triggers a positive reaction in the body that results in a more positive attitude and increased energy levels.
