WHEN I’M NOT AT WORK, YOU CAN FIND ME… in the kitchen cooking, being active in some capacity, painting, or snuggled up on the couch with a fuzzy blanket.
WHEN I WANT TO DE-STRESS, I…experiment with cooking or baking something new, watch sports with my partner and family, and take my dogs for long walks.
MY FAVORITE TIME OF YEAR IS…Spring and summer! The warmer weather and longer hours of sunlight allow for more time to hike, camp, and do fun activities.
WHAT LED YOU TO PURSUE A CAREER HELPING OTHERS? To help guide individuals in finding compassion for themselves and that they are not alone in their struggles. Every human has their own fight and struggles, I want to help others work through theirs.
WHAT EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERTISE DO YOU BRING TO YOUR ROLE? I studied neuroscience, nutrition, and psychology in college and the culmination of these fields provides me the recourses to give patients support and guidance.
WHO/WHAT INSPIRES YOU? My parents who have worked incredibly hard their whole lives and have taught me the power of knowing one’s strengths and weaknesses. As well as, cultivating a mindset that you are able to accomplish anything you put time and energy into.
WHAT IS ONE SMALL THING PEOPLE CAN DO TO IMPROVE THEIR LIVES AND INCREASE THEIR HAPPINESS? Two pieces of advice I can give are to go outside more, a moment of fresh air away from technology and others can greatly improve one’s life and knowing it is okay to ask for help or take a break from the bustling world we live in.
